How does this all work anyways?
There are 2 different ways to play and each one depends on what your goal is...so choose your own adventure below based on the quotes we have provided for you.
Path A: "I NEED TO LOSE THE SPARE TIRE!"
You decided to finally challenge yourself and lose the weight, huh? Awesome!
This challenge is not like anything you have likely seen before.
You will literally put your money where your mouth is on this one.
Place a bet on yourself to hit the weight-loss goal and if you hit it...you get to share in the pool of money with the rest of your competition.
Pretty simple right? But I know your next question...
But how do we verify the weight-loss, you might ask?
For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2
photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no
shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the
scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.
So you 'weighting' for? (Sorry. Had to. I'm a dad, I can't help it.)

Path B: "I want to compete. I want to dominate. I want a challenge to stay in shape."
This is the path for those of us who are already in decent shape, but we lack the will power to stay consistent with our workouts. We need a challenge or a competition to keep us motivated to move the needle on our fitness or we just plateau.
We thought of that because the founder is exactly like that...He loves to compete so he created a unique system for dads to motivate each other by seeing each other's daily workout numbers.
"How in the blazes are you going to manage that?" you might ask...
Great question! We have a fitness tracker called Myzone MZ-3 that measures your effort on each workout and puts that into a number called an effort point, or an MEP (see the chart below for details on how points are specifically measured).
Here is the cool thing about these fitness bands...
We spent months and months finding a way to level the playing field for men and allow guys to compete with their friends from across the world.
We didn't want to create a standardized workout plan, because how can you really keep one another accountable to the numbers...meaning, you overly competitive dudes would be too tempted to cheat.
We couldn't have that now, could we? Especially if you are betting your buddy $50 that you are going to out work him in the month of July.
So this is where our fitness bands come in...
The bands give us a standardized measurement of effort. When you heart rate is in the higher zones, the effort points start add up faster.

simplest way to put it is, the longer you workout with your heart rate
at higher intensity, the more points you will accrue.

Once you have your Myzone band, you can then begin creating your own challenges with friends. All you need to do is create a profile on the site, then create a challenge and invite friends to it.
These challenges are cash based, so the winner (based on total MEPs earned during the challenge period) takes the prize pot.
